Rosa started her musical career at the age of eight by playing the clarinet. She studied with Lars Wouters van den Oudenwijer as a student at the Young Musicians Academy at the Fonty’s conservatory in Tilburg. Here she also studied double bass with Rob Dirksen.
After finishing high-school Rosa started her studies at the Utrecht conservatory with Joshua Cheatham on viola da gamba.
After one year she changed to the department: Musician 3.0, focussing on creating her own work.
Since 2015 Rosa is a student of Iris van Peppen, following classes in dance-improvisation. As an improvisation performer Rosa uses a range of props which do or don’t make sound and her voice and body.
